Disposition: USDA Citation
Person of Interest: Marvin W Zimmerman
MARVIN ZIMMERMAN Certificate: 23-A-0137 Type: ROUTINE INSPECTION Date: DEC-10-2001
Indoor housing facilities must be sufficiently ventilated when dogs are present to provide for their health and well-being, and to minimize odors, drafts, ammonia levels, and moisture condensation. Three windows on the right side of building are directly above small dog enclosures. When the fan is operating cold air is pulled across the tops of enclosures. Dogs located near windows were huddled in corner during inspection. Suggest that a solid top be placed on wire enclosures near windows to prevent drafts and discomfort to the dogs. To be corrected by: 12-15-01
