A man is under arrest accused of animal abuse, and now a tiny puppy needs help from the community.

Hollywood police said that Elvis Demitro had the puppy tied to a chair, and when a neighbor admonished him for how he was treating the puppy, police said that Demitro picked the dog up and tossed it fifteen feet into a tree this weekend.

The puppy suffered a broken front leg. It was operated on at the Hollywood Animal Hospital. A rescue group is caring for the puppy, but as soon as it is well enough it will be available for adoption.
