Suspect(s) Unknown - We need your help!
Animal control officers in Virginia Beach believe that someone killed a puppy and set it on fire. Police say they got an animal cruelty call on Nov 11 and found a dog dead in Beach Garden Park.
Investigators are awaiting a final necropsy report from a local veterinarian. But animal control supervisor Steve Kemper says police believe the dog was killed before being burned.
The dog was a female terrier breed. She weighed about 13 pounds and is believed to have been about five months old.
