A family pet in Bucks County wounded by a bow and arrow and she was shot to kill and police want to know who did it and why. A 2-year-old Golden retriever Lady who was shot with an arrow on Nov 12 after she wandered into the woods and onto a neighbor's property, a known hunter.
"I heard a god awful scream and the dog came out and there was blood all over her," explained owner Leonard Radziewicz.
At this point police are still investigating but the dog's owner says he is sure this was not an accident.
"Maybe the dog was interfering with a hunt and someone tried to kill it," said Radziewicz, adding, "It is definitely a kill shot and even the vet said that."
His neighbor told police he was hunting on his property earlier in the morning but claims he was back inside his home at the time of the incident.
While getting to the bottom of what happened is Leonard's top priority, right now he is just happy Lady is going to be okay.
"Another inch and I would be burying the dog, how could someone do this," stated Radziewicz. References« PA State Animal Cruelty Map « More cases in Bucks County, PA
