County: BentonDisposition: Alleged
Alleged: Man
A family in Benton County is pleading with sheriff's deputies to find the man who left two dogs locked-up for weeks without food or water. The owner of the property in Finley discovered two badly malnourished pitbulls November 11, 2005. Animal rescuers call this the worst case of animal abuse they've ever seen.
The dogs are very thin and have sores on their bodies. There are small pens inside the house where the dogs slept and the floor is covered with feces.
The owner of the house, Ed Tullis, says he hasn't seen his renter much in the past two months. Tullis says he likes to give his tenants privacy, but had he known the dogs were treated so poorly, he would've intervened sooner. Tullis believes the tenant used the dogs for fighting.

Note: Classifications and other fields should not be used to determine what specific charges the suspect is facing or was convicted of - they are for research and statistical purposes only. The case report and subsequent updates outline the specific charges. Charges referenced in the original case report may be modified throughout the course of the investigation or trial, so case updates, when available, should always be considered the most accurate reflection of charges.
