A crate of 5 adult boas was anonymously left on the doorstep of Project Wildlife. The snakes were in various stages of severe malnourishment and dehydration and several had respiratory infections and mites.  Because boas are not native to southern california, Project Wildlife was not able to rehabilitate the snakes (due to the restrictions on their California wildlife rehabilitation license).  Some of the snakes were taken in by other PW volunteers, and Pet-Abuse.Com accepted three of them.  Two of the snakes taken in by Pet-Abuse.Com are rapidly improving and should be ready for adoption soon.  The third is still very sick, but is showing signs of improvement.

Case Updates
