A Rochester man has been charged with felony aggravated animal cruelty after his 3-month old pit bull puppy died from starvation. Humane Society arrested 22-year-old Ebony Siplin of Lake Avenue in Rochester at Lollypop Farm cruelty investigators.
On October 23, investigators removed Siplin�s 3-month-old pit bull puppy that was in critical condition. The puppy died shortly after arriving at the shelter. A necropsy revealed the puppy died from starvation, exposure to the elements, and aggravated trauma.
If convicted Siplin faces up to four years in jail and/or a $5,000 fine. Case UpdatesA woman has been sentenced to one year in jail for starving her pit bull puppy to death and inflicting other trauma on the dog.
Ebony Siplin, 22, of Lake Avenue, is also banned for life from owning animals.
