San Jose, CA (US)

County: Santa Clara

Disposition: Not Charged

Abuser names unreleased

Animal welfare workers in the South Bay are looking for homes for dozens of cats taken from a single apartment.

Fifty-two cats lived in a one-bedroom apartment at a San Jose building. The cats' owner agreed to turn over the animals to the Humane Society after authorities started investigating.

She gets to keep one cat, but the rest are up for adoption.

Workers say they're all healthy and well-socialized.
