A man was found guilty in late September of animal cruelty after two dogs were found severely underweight.
Larry Angus Jr. was found guilty and sentenced September 29th, 2005, on two counts of failure to provide adequate sustenance for a Dalmatian and Rottweiler that were seized in January 2005.
Angus was sentenced to five years of probation with no owning, harboring or keeping any animals. He was also ordered to pay $50 each month for five years for restitution.
Included in the sentence was 180 days in jail with 160 days suspended. Angus' financee was also ordered to surrender her two cats.
He was also found guilty on a misdemeanor charge of animal cruelty because the dogs were between 35 and 40 percent underweight.
