Barely six weeks old, his name was 'Winnie the Pooh.' David Moore, a man who works with abused animals, says says he saw a man killing his own dog, Pooh, with a coat hanger. "He was lifting the puppy off the ground and the puppy was kicking, he got down to the next house, a vacant house and he just flipped the puppy and hanger all in one," adds Moore.
The family, the Castillos, that owned the dog has a very different version of what happened. They say they just wanted to keep the sight of it away from their children.
The Castillo family is angry about the allegations. They admit another dog they owned a few years ago was seized by Animal Control because it hadn't gotten it's shots, but they say they love animals.
Animal Control is investigating the case. If they do find any wrongdoing, Mr. Castillo could be charged. References« Back to Search Results
