Suspect(s) Unknown - We need your help!
On September 22, 2005, Rose Beverly came home to find her cat, Maury injured from a gun shot wound. Maury had been missing for 24 hours before he turned back up on the front stoop of Ms. Beverly's home.
"My beloved tabby has a bullet lodged in his spine. It is pressing on his nerves, paralyzing his left hind leg, bladder, and tail, and partially paralyzing his right hind leg."
"No matter what we decide, Maury will never be the same playful, adventurous cat we adopted from the Lincoln County Animal Shelter. I don't know who fired the gun, but I am scared to realize that it had to be one of my neighbors on Barter's Island."
