Mr. Mannon's Rottweiler was impounded February 10, 2005 after it was found and reported by a neighbor for running at large.
Animal Control Officer found that the dog had a large laceration on its neck. The Animal Control Officer recognized the dog has having dealt with it before, confronted the animal's owner. Mannon told the officer that the collar must have been too abrasive as three days earlier he had to cut the collar off but only saw a little raw spot.
Mr. Mannon was found guilty for 2nd degree animal cruelty on June 10, 2005
June 10, 2005 Court imposes 90 days on charge 1 with 80 days suspended and 0 credit for time served. Total amount imposed on charge 1, $1000.00 with $500.00 Suspended.
$1000.00 civil penalty to the Kitsap Humane Society Due within 1 year
