Mr. Mannon's Rottweiler was impounded February 10, 2005 after it was found and reported by a neighbor for running at large.

Animal Control Officer found that the dog had a large laceration on its neck. The Animal Control Officer recognized the dog has having dealt with it before, confronted the animal�s owner. Mannon told the officer that the collar must have been too abrasive as three days earlier he had to cut the collar off but only saw a little raw spot.

Mr. Mannon was found guilty for 2nd degree animal cruelty on June 10, 2005

June 10, 2005 Court imposes 90 days on charge 1 with 80 days suspended and 0 credit for time served. Total amount imposed on charge 1, $1000.00 with $500.00 Suspended.

$1000.00 civil penalty to the Kitsap Humane Society Due within 1 year

The dog was rehabilitated and placed into another home.
