An individual discovered the tongue of a dog on the sidewalk in early August. A business owner reported to the Wickenburg police that a passerby came into his office on West Wickenburg Way and told him that there was a dog's tongue on the sidewalk.

Local police confirmed it to be the tongue of a dog and said it looked as if it were ripped out, rather than cut out.

Yavapai County Sheriff's Office Deputy Regina Juarez can be contacted at 928-771-3206 (ask for badge No. 387).
