A red-tailed hawk was set on fire with firecrackers, urinated on, tied to a bicycle and dragged down the street. The hawk suffered a broken leg, a damaged wing, and much of the body was burned; he was euthanized due to the severity of the injuries.

"They said 'We're just playing, we're just playing,'" Woods recalled. The brothers told Woods they had used firecrackers to set the hawk on fire. They rode off and, laughing, assured her they'd do it again if given the chance.
