In Lehigh County, Coopersburg Police are looking for two men who killed a cat in an apparent prank. Witnesses say 2 men in a black pickup truck threw a cat out of the truck at the corner of South Main and Linden Streets on July 24.
The dead cat was spray painted the same colors as a cat that had gone missing. The dead cat -- painted orange and white -- was dumped at the foot of the sign alerting neighbors to an orange and white cat that had gone missing.
The Humane Society, Lehigh Valley Animal Rights Coalition and several local residents have donated money for a reward in the case, which is now up to $1,100.
