Two South Jersey teens faced charges on July 18 after a disturbing case of alleged animal abuse over the weekend. Laura Pappenroth says she witnessed a group of teens torturing a little kitten in broad daylight in Blackwood, N.J.
Pappenroth says she approached the kids in shock when she saw what they were doing to the animal.
"The tallest boy was throwing something in the air 20 feet and watching it fall to the ground," said Pappenroth.
Police were not commenting on the charges. Fortunately the kitten wasn't seriously hurt.
He's 4 weeks old and now staying with a foster family who is calling him Geronimo.
A spokeswoman from the family says Geronimo is doing fine, despite the fact that one of the boys apparently sat on the kitten.
