Timothy L. Hall Jr, 22, of Akron was arrested on Nov 8 and charged with using a stick to kill a cat and then setting the cat on fire on Nov 8.

Hall faces charges of cruelty to animals and obstructing official business. He is being held in the Summit County Jail.

When a humane officer visited Hall's East South Street home regarding the killing of the cat, he called police when Hall was not willing to talk.

Hall has allegedly admitted to the humane officer and the police that he killed the cat. The incident happened around 4:40 p.m. on Nov 7 at Hall's home.
