A woman was arrested June 9 on animal cruelty charges after police found at least two sick dogs in her garbage-strewn home, officials said.

Mari C. Lampman, 51, of Lake Worth, was charged with two counts of animal cruelty and 10 counts each of animal confinement and manner of keeping animals, Lake Worth police said.

During a search of her home, police found it filled with trash, animal feces and urine. Officers also found at least one dog with mange.

Lampman was taken to Palm Beach County Jail. She was being held late Friday on $200,000 bond.
