Alleged: Ricky Lee Arnold

Ricky Lee Arnold, 42, is alleged to have killed a neighbor's cat by hitting it with a bicycle tire and then killing it with a concrete block. Arnold says he is a pet lover who was only putting the animal out of its misery.

Arnold said he had doughnut grease on his shoes, it caused him to slip and fall on the stairway of his apartment building on June 26. He fell on the small cat and broke its neck. Arnold used to work as a janitor at a bakery.
