An allegedly intoxicated Alpharetta man was arrested April 14 for cruelty to animals. Witnesses told police Dustian Kevin Oliver, 23, came home allegedly very drunk and grabbed his aunt�s 15-pound lap dog by the throat and began to choke it.

The witnesses were forced to physically restrain Oliver and pry the dog from his grasp.

Police said the dog didn�t appear to have any visible injuries, but Oliver was arrested on an animal cruelty charge.
