When a cat that had lost its eyesight about five years ago was found, it was thought he had his eyes gouged out. It didn't appear Lucky was attacked by animals. Rick Foley, one of the investigators, said "I do believe somebody has done something with the eyes. We have a cat that's in bad shape. Its eyes were red and infected and sore."
Someone injured Lucky after he was seen curled up at his warehouse home and was found wandering in a wooded area.
The 12-year old cat was brought to the humane society. The veterinarians administered antibiotics and were going to suture his eye sockets closed.
Lucky was able to navigate the neighborhood after losing his eyesight about five years ago as the result of two separate animal fights. The humane society plans to find Lucky a new home.
