At 6:30 p.m. on April 18, a 48-year-old man got into an argument with a female roommate. He allegedly put a choke hold on her and held her cocker spaniel by its leash as if he were hanging it. He allegedly broke the windows of another female roommate's car and vandalized other personal property. He was gone when police arrived, but he returned later in the evening. One of the women in the residence locked herself in her bedroom. Police arrived, forced entry and arrested the man.
