Two dead dogs were found Saturday morning in a ditch near a mobile home park. Police are investigating the deaths.

One dog was a poorly nourished pit bull and the other burned dog probably a Rottweiler were both found near the South Main Mobile Home Park.

The smaller, brown pit bull had a red collar and a bicycle inner tube wrapped around his neck. Over half of the other dog's body was burned.

Lt Michael Donoghue said no arrests have been made, but the police investigation is ongoing.

Anyone with information about the two dead dogs is asked to call Summerville police at 871-2463.
