Humane officers have seized 111 rodents and one ferret from an apartment on Harrison Road. The officers were responding to a complaint on Monday, April 11, and the resident allowed them in, said Kasha Winston, animal services supervisor at the citys shelter. She said the animals were not very clean and that a few of the rabbits were being taken to a veterinarian.

No one has been charged. Thursday (April 14), Winston will hold a seizure hearing to determine the fate of the animals.
