Humane officers have seized 111 rodents and one ferret from an apartment on Harrison Road. The officers were responding to a complaint on Monday, April 11, and the resident allowed them in, said Kasha Winston, animal services supervisor at the city's shelter. She said the animals were not very clean and that a few of the rabbits were being taken to a veterinarian.

No one has been charged. Thursday (April 14), Winston will hold a seizure hearing to determine the fate of the animals.

Note: Classifications and other fields should not be used to determine what specific charges the suspect is facing or was convicted of - they are for research and statistical purposes only. The case report and subsequent updates outline the specific charges. Charges referenced in the original case report may be modified throughout the course of the investigation or trial, so case updates, when available, should always be considered the most accurate reflection of charges.
