A 55-year-old woman who lives on Martin Drive in Barboursville reported Tuesday that someone beat and poisoned her dog on Friday. She said the incident occurred behind her home. The woman took the pet, a German shepherd-Siberian husky mix, to a veterinarian, and it survived. The dog also reportedly had been fed bones.
