more information on voting
When you vote, you are voting on whether or not the punishment fit the crime, NOT on the severity of the case itself. If you feel the sentence was very weak, you would vote 1 star. If you feel the sentence was very strong, you would vote 5 stars.
Please vote honestly and realistically. These ratings will be used a a tool for many future programs, including a "Peoples Choice" of best and worst sentencing, DA and judge "report cards", and more. Try to resist the temptation to vote 1 star on every case, even if you feel that 100 years in prison isnt enough.

Two dogs neglected Llandudno, WA (UK)Incident Date: Monday, Jan 31, 2005
Disposition: Convicted
Defendants/Suspects: » Garry Jones » Lynne Roberts
A North Wales couple were convicted on March 15, 2005 and banned from keeping animals for 10 years after they admitted cruelty to two dogs. Garry Jones, 47, and Lynne Roberts, 40, of Conwy Road, Llandudno, were disqualified from keeping 'warm-blooded animals' after pleading guilty to a charge of causing unnecessary suffering.
But the couple, each ordered to pay pounds 150 costs, were told they could keep their fish.
Chris Dawson, prosecuting for the RSPCA, told a Llandudno court collie Jess and Taft, a German-shepherd type dog, were underfed and unkempt. He said the case came to light after neighbours complained to a dog warden about barking. Mr Dawson said both dogs were handed over to the RSPCA and one has since been adopted.
Graham Parry, defending, said the couple had health problems and would not oppose the disqualification order. Court chairman John Anderson told them both dogs were grossly underweight. There was evidence of the dogs' poor feeding and they had not seen a vet. References- Daily Post (Liverpool, England); 3/16/2005
