Workers from the Houston SPCA are going to Waller County to rescue several neglected animals, including a mare and her newborn foal and two pigs. Investigators say one of the pigs has an untreated tumor and all of the animals are thin. They plan to rescue a mare and her newborn foal, a llama, two pigs, a cat and assorted fowl.

Investigators say the animals are thin, one of the pigs has an untreated tumor and environmental conditions are poor. The owner of the animals is currently in jail on animal cruelty charges related to a previous seizure of her animals. The animals will be brought back to the Houston SPCA where their conditions will be evaluated and treated.
