A Queensbury teen was arrested and charged with aggravated cruelty to an animal. Police stated Ashley Wood, 17,  kicked a 13-year-old tiger cat twice back in February. Investigators said the cat was knocked into a wall from the force of the kicks.

The incident allegedly happened while the owners of the home were away on vacation. The cat was taken to an animal hospital for treatment of a broken rear leg.

Wood turned herself into the sheriff's office Wednesday, March 9. She was issued an appearance ticket to appear in Queensbury Court at a later date.
