Hoarding - over a dozen animals in car

A Wayne County woman is facing charges after investigators found more than a dozen animals in her car. Angelina Forte-Walker of Macedon is charged with abandonment, cruelty to animals and endangering the welfare of a child.

Officers arrested the 34-year-old on Feb 17 after they found 13 dogs and one cat in her vehicle. Investigators say Forte-Walker was stopped on Monroe Avenue in Rochester and had 13 dogs and one cat in her vehicle. They also removed nine cats, three live and two dead rabbits and a dead rat from her home on Feb 8.

She is in jail on $5,000 bond. If convicted she faces up to one year in jail.
