A mixed-breed collie was found Thursday abused and in desperate need of medical attention. Now, the Washington County Humane Society needs your help. The dog's skeletal, frail body was found in Avella.

He's missing fur and the fur that's left has chunks of tar in it. He may have to have his leg amputated, which is something the no-kill shelter can't afford.
