The SPCA found stolen merchandise and a dead Pit Bull Puppy inside an apartment on Poplar Avenue on the evening of Feb 4. Investigators say the dog was left in a tiny crawl space with a refrigerator blocking its only way out.

Police say they also found drugs and bootlegged dvd's in the house. The tenant faces several charges.
