Shreveport police busted a dog-fighting ring early Saturday morning at a house in the 3000 block of Sunnybrook Road. Police responded to a call of dogs barking, but when they showed up, they found blood everywhere and at least nine dogs fighting.

Inside the carport, police even found dog training apparatuses. The homeowner and two others were arrested and charged with felony dog fighting.

Police have not released their names. Five people ran from the scene.

Eight dogs and four vehicles were seized.

The dogs are now in the custody of Caddo Animal Control.
