Albuquerque police have arrested a man accused of shooting his neighbor's dog. Officers told the news media that a man living in the 900 block of Western was upset at the dog's barking so he pointed a shotgun at the dog and fired. Police are holding the man on a list of charges, including animal abuse.

The dog was rushed to a local animal hospital, but its condition was unknown Wednesday morning.
