The Springfield Police are looking for 2 teenage boys for stealing a pet rabbit and then feeding it to a pit bull.
Shadow, an 8-year-old rabbit had been taken from her pen, brought to a dog one street over and ripped apart as the teens stood by and watched according to witnesses.
According to the MSPCA, stealing a rabbit is at least a larceny charge, but siccing another animal on it is a felony.
The rabbits owner has since moved the rabbit pen with Shadows companion Daisy inside.
