19 pure-bred Siberian Huskies removed from a filthy home Tuesday night are getting much-needed care at the Humane Society of Pinellas.

Society workers took the dogs from a Clearwater home Tuesday night. Deputies have charged their owner, Jennifer Weaver, with animal neglect. They say Weaver, 50, kept the huskies in "deplorable condition," including small cages covered in feces and urine.

Of the seven dogs checked out so far, all have Giardia and fleas. One has Lyme Disease. During the dogs' recovery the society will file for legal custody, then begin the adoption process
