Police are investigating and looking for the person that threw a puppy out a third story window, resulting the death of the puppy.

The puppy was brought into the St Luke's Hospital Emergency Room around midnight by two women. They told a police officer a girl had given it to them on Miller Street, saying someone threw it out the third-floor window.

The tiny puppy was whimpering and screaming. Nurses wrapped the dog in a blanket, tried to give it some infant formula and oxygen.

An emergency medical technician drove the dog in the ambulance to a local animal hospital where it died from its injuries.
