The Humane Society of the United States (HSUS) is offering a $2,500 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for the mutilation death of an 11-month-old cat in late October.

Tiffany, a grey tabby, routinely spent time outdoors. According to KM3 News in Omaha, the cat did not return to her home on Fowler Street on the evening of October 23. The next day she was found outside the home with her front legs missing and died a short time later.  A necropsy was performed on the cat's body. The cause of the injuries was not determined.

The Nebraska Humane Society's Chief Animal Cruelty Investigator, in conjunction with the Omaha Police Dept., is investigating this case. Anyone with information about this case can anonymously contact the Humane Society at 402-444-7800.
