An Orlando woman who says she loves her dogs and doesn't mistreat them is jailed on animal cruelty charges.

Samantha Moore-Neloms allegedly left her two Pekingese dogs in what she thought was an air conditioned storage unit after she was evicted and her motel would not take pets.

The manager called the police Saturday when he heard barking. They broke in and animal services took the dehydrated dogs.

Moore-Neloms was arrested when she called to claim the dogs.

She cannot afford to make bond and fears she will lose her job as a housekeeper at a Disney hotel for missing work.
