Nine pit bull puppies were found in a Lawrence house with no food, their bodies scarred all over, according to authorities. The dogs were confiscated because animal control officers said it looked like they were being bred to fight.
The owner or owners hadn't yet been found, but a man who answered the door at the house said only some of the dogs were his, but he denied they were mistreated.
The dogs were unadoptable because they were too aggressive, and animal control officers said as soon as legal action was taken, the dogs would be euthanized. References« Back to Search Results
