A home in the city of Rochester will probably have to be demolished, because of the conditions in which 34 cats were found living by the Humane Society at Lollypop Farm.
After receiving a complaint of animal cruelty and making several visits to the home, all 34 were removed to Lollypop Farm and the owner was evicted from the dwelling. Richard Gerbasi at Lollypop says the cats had fleas and ear mites and many had feces caked in their fur. Some, he said, were surviving by eating other dead cats.
Lollypop Farm declined to name the address, only to say it is in the southeast side of the city.
Animal cruelty charges against the owner are pending References« Back to Search Results
