Morris Cruz, 21, was charged for attacking a Labrador puppy with a machete causing it to nearly lose its nose.

Cruz was charged with attacking the puppy when it wandered into his home. The puppy entered his apartment and defecated on the floor. The puppy had been left behind by a neighbor who moved out of an adjacent apartment.
