Three men deliberately put dog on tracks so it would be hit by a train. Anthony F. Moynihan and Richard Palmero, both 18, and Michael Seitz, 21, all of Dorchester were arraigned April 8, 1992. Charged with cruely to animals. Moynihan and Palmero also charged with being minors transporting alcohol. They pleaded not guilty and were released to await trial.
Two little girls saw the men throw the dog over the fence. The tracks are hemmed in by fencing on both sides, so the dog was trapped. The 9-month old Labrador retriever had one of its legs severed, much of its skin ripped from its body. The dog was taken to an animal hospital but died en route.
