George Samaha of Rochester Hills is one of two men accused of stabbing a 3-month old puppy and leaving it for dead in a trash bin, he has been sentenced to 90 days in a work release program.

His roommate, Richard Galbraith, was sentenced to 90 days in a work release program, two years probation and $600 worth of work in an animal shelter.

The Chow dog mix, was stabbed 11 times last June, requiring two hours of surgery and 100 stitches.
