Manteca woman arrested after admitting she killed her neighbor's pet pig, which had attacked her niece, deputies said.

Maralea Elane Chincarini, 47, told a San Jaoquin County sheriff's deputy she shot her neighbor's pot-bellied pig four times in the head while it was in the pen next door.

The biting incident started a dispute between the neighbor over the fate of the pig, Pumba.

Police said Chincarini admitted shooting the pig, putting it in a truck and disposing of the body.

Chincarini was charged with unlawful killing of an animal.
