more information on voting
When you vote, you are voting on whether or not the punishment fit the crime, NOT on the severity of the case itself. If you feel the sentence was very weak, you would vote 1 star. If you feel the sentence was very strong, you would vote 5 stars.
Please vote honestly and realistically. These ratings will be used a a tool for many future programs, including a "Peoples Choice" of best and worst sentencing, DA and judge "report cards", and more. Try to resist the temptation to vote 1 star on every case, even if you feel that 100 years in prison isnt enough.

"One puppy died the day after being removed from the owners," Animal Control Officer Robert Oliver wrote in an arrest affidavit.
Chesney A. Baker, 47, and Kristi Kay Prenger, 37, who are accused of failing to provide medical attention, shots, food, and water to the 11 dogs, remained jailed Monday in lieu of $1,000. bond each.
Authorities received two anonymous complaints Aug. 17 and again Aug. 24 in which "the caller advised many dogs were inside the trailer infested with fleas and extremely underweight," Oliver's affidavit said.
Baker signed the dogs over to Oliver, who took them to a Stillwater veterinarian. Dr. Casey Fussell confirmed that "the dogs were clinically undernourished, emaciated, anemic, and infested with both internal and external parasites," the affidavit said.
Case UpdatesA Stillwater couple can't own animals while they are on probation for failing to provide adequate food for 11 dogs in their home.
Chesney A. Baker and Kristi Kay Prenger also gave up their rights to eight surviving dogs and were ordered to pay 1,741 dollars in restitution after pleading no contest to animal cruelty in Payne County District Court. Eleven dogs were rescued from the couple's Stillwater residence in August 2004, but three died a short time later.
At their preliminary hearing, veterinarian Casey Fussell testified that dogs found at the couple's residence were emaciated and suffered severe hair loss because of parasites.
