Steffanie L. Boucher, 21, of Collinsville, was charged in Madison County Circuit Court with two counts of aggravated animal cruelty.

Boucher is accused of allowing a ferret to starve to death last month and of failing to feed two dogs and two kittens, causing them serious injury. Bond was set at $10,000.
