Natalie Philpot has been charged with animal cruelty and child endangerment after police found numerous dead animals on her property.

Deputies went in with a search warrant, after a report of cruelty to animals.

The authorities found numerous animal carcasses on Philpot's property, their bodies in various stages of decomposition. The types animals found at this time are not known.

Investigators contacted Standish's health officer and the Department of Health and Human Services because of the house's condition. Human Services took a four-year-old child into protective custody.
