Alleged: Therrin Ginn

Animal control officers in one Butler County community say they've broken up part of a dog-fighting ring.

Therrin Ginn appeared in Middletown court Monday, accused of dog-fighting.

Ginn says he's innocent. The animal control officers disagree.

According to the officers they found four pit bulls on the property where Ginn used to live, and three live in his current home.

Officers also said that some of the dogs had white scars on their bodies.

A grand jury will decide if the charges will remain.
