Pit bulls severely malnourished

Gaston County police have arrested a woman and charged her with animal cruelty after they say they found four severely malnourished pit bulls.

Officers stated that they found a pit bull and three puppies in the backyard of Erika Wolde-Georgis. Officers said the dogs had no food, or shelter.

All four dogs had to be euthanized because of their deteriorating condition.
