Someone deliberately cut the left ear off a 1-year-old cat named Eve in the vicinity of East First Street.

It is believed that more than one person is involved in this case as it would take one person to hold the cat down while the other cut the cat with a knife or a scissors.

An animal cruelty report was filed with the Luzerne County SPCA and the Larksville Police Department.
